Educational qualification :-
  • (i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
  • (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
  • (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in above mentioned qualifications (i) and (ii), candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SELT/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
  • (iv) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master's Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
Salary & Allowances :-
  • (Pay scale 15600-39100 + AGP Rs.6000)
  • Pay scale as per the rules and regulations prescribed by the U.G.C., Government of Maharashtra & University norms.

  • 1. Candidates must ensure that no column is wrongly filled in the application form as the information furnished therein would be used for deciding the eligibility and suitability of the candidates for being called for the interview. Applications not filled in correctly, incomplete or not filled as per the instructions are liable to be rejected and the responsibility of such rejection would be on the candidate himself/herself.
  • 2. Self-attested copies of the certificates should be attached in support of information given in the form where necessary and serial No. of enclosure attached should be indicated in the respective column given in the form. Any information contained in the attached certificates shall not be considered unless it is claimed in the application form.
  • 3. Prescribed qualifications for the above mentioned posts would be as per the Norms/ Regulations of UGC and as approved by the Government of Maharashtra.
  • 4. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50 % of the marks at the Master's degree level for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically handicapped category.
  • 5. A relaxation of 5% of marks will be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. degree holders, who have passed their Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991.
  • 7. The period of time taken by candidates to acquire M. Phil. and/ or Ph.D. Degree shall not be considered as teaching / research experience to be claimed for appointment to the teaching positions.
  • 8. If appointed the minimum period of probation shall be one year extendable by a maximum period of one more year in case of unsatisfactory performance.
  • 9. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories specified by the State Government of Maharashtra only shall be considered for the posts reserved in this advertisement. The candidates from reserved category who are domiciled outside the State of Maharashtra will be treated as open category candidates as per Maharashtra Govt. Circular No. CBS-1290/23116/Pra.Kra.378/ Mapak.5, dated 24-08-1995.
  • 10. As per the Govt. Resolution No. Aniyo-1005/126/Seva-4 dated 31st October, 2005 a new Ô„efined contribution pension schemeÔ has been made applicable to the Govt. servants, who are recruited on or after 1st November, 2005. The same will be applicable to employees of this Institute.
  • 11. The candidate shall have to submit a declaration at the time of interview as per the rules Prescribed by the Govt. of Maharashtra in respect of small family vide Notification No. SRV.2000/CR/(17/2000) XII, dated- 28-3-2005.
  • 12. Candidates shall also attach self-attested copies of caste validity certificate and non-creamy layer certificate wherever applicable.
  • 13. Canvassing in any form throughout the selection process will be a disqualification.
  • 14. Applications incomplete in any respect will be rejected.
  • 15. The right to fill or not to fill the posts or to modify/alter/cancel the advertisement is reserved by the Society.
  • 16. All disputes arising out of this advertisement are subject to Aurangabad jurisdiction.
  • 17. Applicants shall not be entitled for any TA/DA towards attending the interview.
  • 18. Selection will be made on the basis of candidateÓ³ previous record and performance during his/her interview. The Society may also utilize colloquium / demonstration or any other mode as a method of selection.
  • 19. The Society shall not be held responsible for postponement or cancellation of scheduled interview for any unforeseen/unavoidable reasons.
  • 20. Candidates of reserved categories are to submit a copy of application to the Deputy Registrar (Special Cell), Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad well in advance without waiting till the last date to avoid postal delay or any other unforeseen problems. The University will not be responsible for any postal delay at any stage.
  • 21. Only completely filled online applications shall be accepted. Handwritten application shall not be accepted and no communication in this regard will be made with the candidate.
  • 22. No correspondence will be made with applicants who are not short-listed/not called for interview.
  • 23. Applications received by E-mail and Fax will not be entertained.
  • 24. All the posts are transferable amongst the colleges run by M.S.P.Mandal.
  • 25. 3 % of the seats in the above relevant categories are reserved for physically handicapped categories.
  • 26. 30 % of the seats in the above relevant categories are reserved for women candidates.
  • 27. If candidates from reserved categories apply through open category, they shall be treated as open category candidates as per Government rules.
  • 28. Applications containing false information shall be rejected.
  • 29. Online applications with incomplete, twisted and false information and not acompanied with necessary documents shall be rejected.
  • 30. Candidates registerted with University Employment Information Centre also shall send online application.
  • 31. Call letters will only be sent by email.
